About the role

Number of Positions: 4
Duration: 4 months to 12 months
Term: September to December 2026
Location: In office at 600 March Rd. Ottawa, Canada.
**Required Skills and Experience:
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree or diploma program in Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering, or a related field
- Coursework or hands‑on experience with Python programming, SQL statements, and PowerShell scripting
- Familiarity with cloud concepts, including data storage and data processing, through coursework, labs, or personal projects
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly and apply them in a practical environment, with strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of an on‑site team
- Familiarity with version control tools such as Git through academic or project work
**Nice to have:

Basic understanding of networking fundamentals, such as TCP/IP, IP addressing, routing, or network protocols

Exposure to Databricks, data analytics platforms, or big‑data tools

Interest in or introductory experience with Lang Chain, OpenAI, or other AI/LLM‑based libraries

Support the design, development, and maintenance of internal network and IT systems under the guidance of experienced team members

Assist with network automation, data processing, or tooling initiatives related to IT and network operations

Participate in the development and testing of scripts or applications to improve system efficiency and reliability

Help collect, analyze, and troubleshoot data related to network performance, system logs, or automation workflows

Collaborate with team members on proof‑of‑concepts, prototypes, or small development tasks

Assist with cloud‑based data storage and processing activities as part of ongoing projects

Learn and apply tools such as Databricks, AI/LLM‑based libraries, or cloud platforms where applicable

Document technical findings, configurations, and processes clearly and accurately

Participate in team meetings, code reviews, and knowledge‑sharing sessions

Follow established development, security, and operational best practices while working on‑site
