Our team is part of the 5G Integration R&D department in Timisoara which includes several SW testing activities. Inside the department, we are working on the 5G Cloud project.

We perform Blackbox testing and we are the first “real” layer of testing 5G SW. This level of testing is called PIT (Plane Integration Testing). Based on the specification diagrams, PIT engineers create test plans, write & execute functional test cases on software binaries and interfaces between them in a simulated environment. All tests are automated and written in a programming language called TTCN3 (similar to Python).

Main activities are: new feature implementation, local support and stability.
We are looking for students who really want to be involved and to contribute and who have good communication skills and can collaborate well inside the team.

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor program
• Applicants may apply to a maximum of 2 projects
• OOP knowledge (Python/C++), Linux, scripting
• Knowledge of 3G-4G-5G Telecom services
• Proficient in AI tools usage like: Copilot, Cursor, LLM is a plus
• Basic concepts of SW testing
• Good to have: experience with GIT, UML, Linux, Confluence
• Get things done right " attitude"
• Create and execute automated test cases to ensure the quality and functionality of 5G software
• Contribute to testing new features and support system stability within the 5G project
• Collaborate with the team to analyze specifications and develop test plans
• Work with software binaries and interfaces in a simulated testing environment
• Gain hands-on experience with 5G technology and integration testing (PIT)
• Develop and enhance programming skills in TTCN3 for automated testing
• Support troubleshooting and provide local support for testing activities
