The Specification Engineer is responsible for defining, developing, and maintaining system‑ and feature‑level specifications for AI‑RAN solutions.
The position operates within RAN Architecture & Specification (A&S) and works closely with RAN system architects, L1/L2/L3 engineering teams, AI/ML experts, platform teams, and product management to ensure high‑quality, feasible, and implementable specifications.
Your Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience as a Requirements Engineer, Software Developer, or Tester
(L1 or L2 layer experience is considered a strong advantage) - Knowledge of IBM Rational DOORS is considered an advantage
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong sense of ownership for assigned responsibilities
- Motivation to drive end‑to‑end feature development across organizational boundaries
- Ability to apply sound judgment and work according to defined guidelines and objectives
- Demonstrates initiative and adaptability in a changing business environment
- Comfortable working with a moderate level of supervision and coaching

Participate in acceptance criteria definition and verification for software development teams

Provide support to test teams, including clarification of requirements and expected behavior

Create entity‑level test scenarios to ensure proper validation of specified functionality
