Must have:

• Student enrolled in a PhD program in Computer Science/Engineering.
• Good knowledge of Machine Learning concepts.
• Hands-on experience with transformer architecture
• Good programming skills in Python
• Experience in designing, implementing and evaluating distributed systems is a big plus.
• Language skills: English

Nice to have:

• Experience with Deep Neural Network (DNN) interpretability and reliability engineering.
• Good knowledge of Deep Reinforcement Learning.
• Familiarity with finetuning and alignment of open-weight models is a plus
• Good knowledge of distributed systems is a plus
• A strong publication record is a plus

Location: Stuttgart (Germany)

• Contribute to a Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) platform, which supports state-of-the-art training and inference features with a focus on sustainable MLOps practices
• Contribute to a GenAI and AI/ML systems.
• Design and implement research ideas in the field of AI/ML
• Work on developing solutions using Deep NN, Reinforcement Learning, Speed up learning approaches, etc.
• Work with different platforms and Proof of Concepts to validate the contributed / proposed solutions
• Build a framework combining concepts in autonomous agents and decentralized systems
• Work on the Auction based network selection approaches
• Explore and get familiar with various open-source software libraries.
