Highly experienced professional responsible for applying technical knowledge in translating client business requirements into a customer solution in Finance domain - with focus on Intercompany processes. Leads and guides work of Technical Solution Architects who code, develop, build, and propose technical solutions.
Must-Have:
- BSc or MSc in relevant field with 7-10 years of relevant experience of business transformation work with subject matter expertise and advanced knowledge in third party sales processes; intercompany sales and business processing; intercompany Stock Transfer Orders; intercompany pricing and billing; Sales Orders; and Deliveries. Good knowledge and exposure to the concept of Transfer pricing and value flow.
- Very good knowledge of the Business and business processes in your given domain beyond the borders of SAP; more than just a knowledge of how to configure SAP
- Strong Business application knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA and SAP ECC solution
- Exposure to both IFRS and USGAAP and SAP FICO and Customer/Vendor master data knowledge.
- Capability to validate system solutions, design and propose alternatives from process, change, business viewpoints to best implement standard solutions.
- Experience evaluating the change management impact of a proposed solution.
- Ability to understand the process and solution architecture E2E across multiple technologies.
Nice-To-Have:
- Comfortable with agile, DevOps and waterfall methodologies.
- Can guide external and internal project teams.
- Understanding of the relationship between costs, schedule, quality, speed in a defining a solution and make trade-off recommendations.
- Understanding Cloud, SaaS, Mobile concepts, architectures, and standard deployment models.
Responsibilities:
- Creates solution architecture and provides technical Solution Design with focus on the Finance Intercompany domain area.
- Works together with technology leads, developers, and partners to design solutions based on customer requirements.
- Captures and manages customer requirements using industry best practice.
- Manages complex assignments independently for the specific domain including consultancy to stakeholders.
- Ensures cross-BU co-ordination in solution definition & development.
- Defines and manages detailed architectural requirements for solution design and build work during delivery phase for projects.
- Develops and deploys the solution architecture capabilities, tools and techniques. Ensures that overall technical solution and architecture is aligned and based on the enterprise architecture.
- As a recognised expert, represents company externally to supplier and partners.
- Presents solution architecture & design to stakeholder for verification and makes required adaptations.
- Acts as permanent consultant in respective competence area. It requires knowledge on Logistic Chain (MM and SD) module requirements linked from E2E process flow.
- Keeps the alignment between enterprise architecture blueprint and recommendations and solution design implementation.
- Provides system architecture and design specifications as well as solutions to support business and operating models and other architectural or security aspects.
- May be assigned to a particular project or program in an enterprise to ensure technical/architectural integrity and consistency of the solution on every stage of its lifecycle.
- Evaluates the new needed capabilities and business requirements against platform capabilities.
- Creates and maintains E2E data architecture incl. Version management considerations.
- Provides proven methods for functionality enablement.
- Determines approach for system- and data migration.
