DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
-
Architect, design, and implement display driver stack for use with current and future products.
-
Develop and refine display software stack to ensure compliance with various display standards and specifications.
-
Research and champion new features/technologies capable of being successfully deployed in massively used gaming consoles.
SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS
-
5+ years related experience.
-
Understanding of display standards and specifications, such as HDMI, DSI, Display Port, EDID.
-
Experience developing device drivers for SOCs.
-
Experience developing multithreaded software.
-
Proficient with fundamental computer science data structures and algorithms in C/C++.
-
Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
-
Knowledge of compositors and image composition pipelines.
-
Experience debugging display protocol issues.
-
Knowledge of display technologies such as HDR and VRR.
This position is onsite in Redmond, WA, and not open to remote status at this time.
This position includes the base pay range listed below, potential for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
Pay Range:$140,900—$253,600 USD
