WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
The Visual Merchandising (VM) function creates premium, inspiring consumer experiences for the Nike brand. The team partners across Brand, Merchandising, Design, Operations, and Retail to shape product journeys, presentation strategies, and seasonal playbooks that set the standard in retail.
This role works cross‑functionally across Geography and Territory teams, including Brand Marketing, Merchandising, Design, and Operations. Reporting to the EMEA VM Senior Manager, the role builds strong partnerships to deliver high‑quality work and collaborates closely with Geo Sport and Territory teams to provide functional direction and insight into marketplace and competitive trends.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Nike is looking for a Lead Professional in Visual Merchandising who thrives in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment. This role brings deep, non‑seasonal VM expertise and translates strategy into clear standards, playbooks, and consistent execution across store openings, refits, remodels, and evergreen presentations.
The ideal candidate has strong visual merchandising and store design experience, can read floor plans, and creates clear, impactful consumer journeys that elevate the brand while driving consistency at scale. This role partners closely with Retail, Brand, Merchandising, Operations, and Store Design to turn product stories into premium retail experiences that connect athletes to sport and innovation.
This person is curious, driven, and collaborative, with a balance of strategic thinking and hands‑on execution. Strong project management skills are essential, as the role manages multiple priorities while maintaining clear communication across teams. A passion for sport retail and the impact of VM on the consumer experience is key.
Key skills include:
- Strong visual merchandising background with experience in large‑scale vertical retail and scaling at pace
- Knowledge of the current retail landscape, trends, and innovation
- Proven ability to partner cross‑functionally and influence at multiple levels in matrixed environments
- Priority setting, stakeholder influence, creative problem‑solving, adaptability, and clear, empathetic communication
- Experience driving decisions and change through collaboration
- Strong verbal and written English communication, including presentation and influencing skills
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Keynote; Mac proficiency preferred
- Willingness to travel approximately eight times per year
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
As the EMEA Visual Merchandising Lead Professional, you will drive non seasonal VM strategy across EMEA, ensuring teams have clear tools and direction for consistent, premium execution. You will:
- Own non seasonal VM strategies: Translate business priorities into clear presentation strategies, product journeys, and playbooks that elevate every store visit
- Deliver functional tools: Create accurate drawings, capacity models, and installer ready documentation aligned with functional code processes
- Operationalize global direction: Adapt global tools with channel right guidelines, consumer journey frameworks, and local insights to drive consistency and efficiency
- Partner on physical builds: Collaborate on store openings, refits, and remodels to ensure functional alignment and high quality execution
- Champion integration: Support an inclusive, integrated way of working across VM, Retail Marketing, and cross functional partners to deliver a cohesive consumer experience
The role is open for applications until 12th of May. Relocation is not offered for this position.
