WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking an Expert Product Line Manager for the APLA Express Lane to drive Nike Brand growth with a focus on the Seoul, Korea marketplace. This role requires passion for the Nike Brand and APLA consumers, translating local cultures into innovative footwear across sports. The ideal candidate will pioneer new initiatives and thrive in a collaborative team environment. You will deliver inspiring products quickly, tailored to the local market. Strong knowledge of footwear, trends, materials, and consumer analytics is essential. Experience partnering with factories to streamline development is preferred.

Bachelor's Degree or 2 additional years of experience in lieu of degree

8+ years of product experience or merchandising

Proven track record of building and growing businesses, leveraging strategic decision making and focused execution

Proven ability to capture consumer insights and translate them into compelling product solutions

Solid understanding of Footwear Creation and product storytelling

Phenomenal product eye and strong style sensibility

Experience leveraging various tools and resources for trend forecasting

Demonstrated leadership capability, including the ability to motivate others and drive vision and strategy across functions

Strategic thinking, product line management and franchise management experience, with ability to drive solid X-functional plans.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
This role will be based in Seoul, Korea and part of a new extension of the APLA Express Lane Team. The Expert Product Line Manager for the APLA Express Lane will be responsible briefing the seasonal Footwear needs and ensuring they line up to the needs of the consumer and business. Specifically, this role will focus on the color, graphics, materials, and trims on all Nike Footwear including but not limited to: Men’s and Women’s genders and across Lifestyle and Performance categories. This role is responsible for driving the vision through a hyperlocal lens and so requires someone who can put themselves in the mind space of the consumers in the APLA Geography and understand how to serve them, apply insights from them and make impact through coveted product.

You will work with a broader Triad team across Design and Development and closely partner with your global product & merchandising partners to understand & fuel franchise and marketplace strategies.

You will monitor progress against objectives and adjust plans as needed, including hitting cost/margin on your projects and all aspects of product management to successfully deliver the line to market.

You'll ensure the accuracy of information in NIKE Inc. internal product management systems. You'll also be responsible for creating and delivering impactful presentations at internal and external meetings on a regular cadence.

Additionally, this role will help lead key initiatives targeted at enhancing our Consumer Insight capabilities. This individual will drive our approach to gathering in-market insights, as well as a key leader of future initiatives and platforms.

You will foster strong relationships with your peers across the APLA GEL team, as well as the entire Global Footwear Family and the Geography Merchandising Function.

You will partner closely with Merchandising and Brand to ensure integration and alignment on key initiatives, innovations, and product journeys.

As a key member of the Global Footwear Product Management team, you will serve as a proactive partner during critical checkpoints & planning moments. You will be responsible for coordinating and communicating the line or specific products to internal and external audiences.
