WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Are you energized by sport in all its forms? From basketball courts and soccer cages to training floors and city streets, do you feel at home where sport and culture intersect? Do you thrive in retail environments and feel motivated by helping retail teams show up confidently for the athlete?
We’re looking for someone who is deeply connected to NYC culture and communities, confident in front of groups, passionate about sport, and eager to keep learning. You love retail and respect the retail associate, understanding their role as the face of the brand and the final connection to the athlete.
In 1981, Nike created the EKIN team (EKIN is “Nike” spelled backwards) to serve as Nike’s Athlete Missionaries, building deep and lasting relationships with athletes and communities. EKINs act as the bridge between Nike’s products, stories, and the athletes who bring them to life.
Today, EKINs continue that mission across Running, Basketball, Soccer, Training, and Sportswear, ensuring athletes of every type can find the right product to support their journey. This role represents the full Nike portfolio, bringing inspiration, innovation, and education to retail partners and communities throughout New York City.
We are looking for an EKIN based in New York, NY who brings confidence, authenticity, and curiosity to everything they do. A candidate who is sport-driven, NYC-rooted, people-focused, and eager to grow will thrive in this role and help power Nike forward.
