WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
NIKE operates the world’s largest footwear, apparel and accessories supply chain in the world, and the Global Supply Chain, including Product Supply Chain, is critical to the success of NIKE. In this position, the candidate will work cross-functionally with a diverse set of stakeholders, including Product Supply Chain, Global Finance Planning, and Controlling, among others, in support of strategic initiatives. The position will serve as the primary global strategic finance partner providing strategic finance guidance, financial planning & analysis, and arrangements governance direction to the Footwear Product Supply Chain team. The position reports to the Director, Finance Product Supply Chain on the broader Global Supply Chain Finance team.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
To be successful, the Senior Principal, Finance Footwear Product Supply Chain candidate needs to have a strategic mindset, a bias toward action, a commitment to execution, and the ability to thrive in ambiguity. The position requires a strong analytical skillset, ability to ‘connect the dots’ from various sources, and communicate to and influence a broad set of stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field
- Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience with growing responsibility in finance, financial planning & analysis, strategic finance, accounting, or related functions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and attention of detail in the development of management quality reporting and analyses
- Proven ability to understand, analyze, and communicate on complex and/or controversial topics and concepts to a wide and diverse audience, including meeting facilitation, presentation, and influencing of senior leaders
- Enterprise mindset with the ability to balance competing stakeholder needs
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Power
Point and Word:
- Experience with a large multinational company, including corporate and subsidiary operations is preferred
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
The Senior Principal, Finance Footwear Product Supply Chain will play a critical role in providing strategic finance, financial planning & analysis, and arrangements governance support to the business. In this dynamic role, you will:
- Serve as the primary finance thought partner to senior leaders in Footwear Product Supply Chain, providing clear financial perspectives and insights that shape strategic direction and drive long-term value creation
- Navigate ambiguous and continuously evolving business landscapes, organizations, and associated strategies with agility
- As part of CSR, AOP, and ad hoc initiatives and projects, lead the development and alignment of business case and investment analysis, develop processes for value capture and benefit tracking, and provide ongoing project and initiative finance leadership that enable consistent, high‑quality prioritization and decision‑making by leaders
- Own the design, evolution, and adoption of the PSC Partner Arrangements Governance model, ensuring clarity of framework and decision rights, consistent evaluation standards, and disciplined execution; lead operational role of supporting arrangements through the governance process including owning financial modelling and connection of value cases to business cases
- Provide forward-looking leadership on supplier financial health, proactively identifying risks and opportunities within the Footwear supply base and influencing mitigation strategies at both partner and enterprise levels
- Act as a recognized finance expert and mentor, elevating the strategic and analytical capability of finance partners and cross‑functional leaders through thought leadership, coaching, and the development of best‑practice frameworks
