WHO YOU’LL WORK WITHYou will report to Director, Brand Marketing based in Korea, partnering closely with Converse Korea cross-functional teams—IMP (Integrated Marketplace) Sales, Merchandising, Planning, Brand Marketing, and Operations—to turn seasonal brand direction into store-ready stories. You will also collaborate with Global team to stay aligned on brand standards and visual guidelines, and work ‘day to day’ with field leaders, store managers, and agency/vendor partners to execute consistently across all doors.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FORThe ideal candidate is a seasoned retail marketing and visual merchandising professional with 3+ years of experience creating impactful in-store experiences for a sport/fashion brand. They bring a sharp creative eye and hands-on craft—able to develop concepts, briefs, and mockups that partners can execute—while also being operationally disciplined in managing timelines, stakeholders, and multiple doors. This role requires a proactive self-starter who thrives in fast-paced retail, communicates with clarity, and holds a high bar for brand consistency.
- Bachelor’s degree required; a degree in Design (or a related field) is a plus.
- 3+ years of experience in retail marketing, visual merchandising, store design, or related retail brand functions.
- Demonstrated space planning and retail design capability (store layout, planograms, adjacency, traffic flow) across multiple store formats.
- Strong creative eye and craft to build concepts and clear briefs (e.g., mockups/presentations) and guide agency/vendor execution.
- Strong stakeholder and project management skills; comfortable communicating with Geo/Global partners in conversational English.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON:
You will drive retail marketing and visual merchandising execution across Converse Korea, translating seasonal stories into elevated store experiences. You will apply and evolve CBY (Converse-By-You) in retail and partner with local and global teams to raise space standards and deliver consistent brand expression.
You will:
- Collaborate daily with IMP Sales, Merchandising, Planning, Brand Marketing, and Operations to align priorities and unlock store growth.
- Turn seasonal storytelling into clear VM direction—windows, focal points, fixture/product presentation, and in-store communication—across owned and partner doors.
- Apply and evolve CBY (Create-By-You) in stores, using store walks and performance insights to improve the playbook for local consumers and store realities.
- Lead space elevation through space planning and zoning updates that improve navigation, storytelling, and commercial performance.
- Bring Seoul and Korea’s culture and community into the store experience—partnering with local creators and communities to build authentic, Converse-right moments that consumers can see and feel in retail.
