As a Senior, Materials Manufacturing Manager on the Apparel/Accessories, you bring deep manufacturing expertise, strong industry background, and an enterprise mindset. You consistently achieve lasting results against shared priorities, even under complex and uncertain conditions.
You operate confidently across strategy and execution—setting direction, driving clarity and accountability, and resolving highly complex manufacturing and supply chain challenges. You build trust-based partnerships with external vendors and internal stakeholders, and elevate how teams deliver against cost, quality, delivery, sustainability, and consumer-focused outcomes.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON
-
You will own and lead the end‑to‑end materials manufacturing process for complex, high‑impact materials—from initial concept and development through commercialization and production—ensuring on‑time delivery against critical dates, product specifications, quality, costing, sustainability, and performance goals. You will proactively identify risks and opportunities, lead cross‑functional problem solving, and drive resolution or escalation with clear recommendations and accountability.
-
Your typical day/week will include leading cross‑functional and vendor engagement at a senior level, shaping the annual engagement model with strategic suppliers, and serving as a technical and manufacturing advisor to Product Development and internal stakeholders. You will apply deep materials and manufacturing expertise to guide decisions, track and resolve development, testing, and production challenges, and deliver results across both seasonal execution and longer‑term enterprise priorities.
WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH
The role reports to the Senior Manager, Materials Manufacturing, based in Taipei. You will partner closely with global materials manufacturing vendors and cross-functional teams including Materials Planning, Costing, Sourcing, Product Development, Apparel Supply Chain, Sustainability and with other key stakeholders. You will operate as a senior point of integration between Nike and its vendor base, translating enterprise priorities into clear execution across regions.
WHAT YOU BRING
-
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
-
5+ years of progressive experience in materials manufacturing, supply chain, or related fields.
-
Deep expertise and background in apparel, footwear or accessories manufacturing, with strong understanding of end‑to‑end supply chain dynamics preferred.
-
Advanced written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to influence stakeholders through effective presentations and independently lead cross-functional meetings
-
Strong project and time management skills, driving complex initiatives to deliver results against critical timelines
-
Ability to operate effectively within a highly matrixed, global organization, leveraging internal and external resources to scale impact
-
Strong business, analytical, and executive communication skills
-
Comfortable engaging with senior internal leaders and strategic external partners to drive performance, accountability, and long‑term partnerships
-
Ability to navigate ambiguity and change with problem‑solving skills, driving execution across evolving business demands and continuous improvement initiatives
-
Ability to travel 10%
