Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Materials Manager located in Guadalajara, North Campus.

Reporting to the Senior Director Operations the Materials Manager Direct role involves responsible of overseeing activities related to the procurement of Direct materials, parts, components and equipment. Direct and coordinates activities of personnel engaged in procurement consistent with delivery requirements and quality specifications

What a typical day looks like:

  • Coordinates schedule of activities with customer on planning, scheduling, shipping and material acquisition during program start-ups.

  • Produces revenue analysis and annual operating plan and other forecast reports.

  • Conducts special studies, investigations and analyses relating to the introduction of new products or processes to effect cost reduction and yield improvements.

  • Responsible for the development and implementation of the company's production control functions including Master Scheduling, Production Planning/Coordination, Shop Scheduling, and Dispatching.

  • Develops, implements and approves items such as material requirements, planning systems, work in process tracking, material and labor variance controls and manufacturing performance reporting.

  • Approves quantities, schedules and parts list provided to the material control organization to ensure timely and complete ordering, receipt and issuance of production material requirements.

  • Responsible for planning, reviewing and developing production procedures and personnel.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and extensive knowledge of purchasing policies and practices.

  • Experience as a Materials Manager in the electronics manufacturing industry.

  • Advanced English.

  • Proactive

  • Personnel management.

  • Previous experience in assembly is required.

  • Ability to make data-driven decisions.

  • Successful use of decision-making and analytical skills.

  • Excellent communication skills.
