Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Buyer located in Guadalajara, South Campus.

The buyer role involves working on coordinating activities involved with procuring direct materials, components and equipment.

What a typical day looks like:

• Reviews requisitions and MRP output.
• Conference with vendors to obtain product or service information such as price, availability and delivery.
• Determines method of procurement such as direct purchase.
• Orders, reschedules and cancellations based on requisitions and MRP output.
• Maintains procurement records such as items or services purchased, costs, delivery and inventories.
• Manages supplier to price, delivery and quality expectations and escalates when appropriate.
• Expedite delivery of goods to users.
• May plan, schedule and monitor the movement of materials through the production cycle.
• Interfaces with suppliers and customers to secure both delivery and the best market price.
• Maintains procurement records, reports and metrics.
• Solve AP issues.
• Monitor and deliver on internal KPIs.
• Solve receiving discrepancies.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Previous experience working on purchase orders/ materials.
• BA/BS degree.
• Advanced English.
• Advanced excel.
• ERP system knowledge.
• Supply chain, purchasing and material knowledge is required.
