Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an EH&S Manager located in Guadalajara, South.

Reporting to the EH&S Director, this role involves being responsible for providing immediate supervision to a group of employees for the implementation of complex activities related to the efficient management of Environmental Health & Safety programs in offices and manufacturing sites in order to ensure that the required company and government standards and regulations are met.

What a typical day looks like:

• Manage, through subordinate supervisors, the coordination of Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) programs in offices, manufacturing sites, and plants with responsibility for results in terms of costs, methods, and employees.
• Develop and administer budgets, schedules, and performance requirements.
• Conduct meetings involving environmental safety, training and awareness programs.
• Oversee proper maintenance of buildings, furniture and fixtures in accordance to federal, state and local regulations.
• Provide direction to employees according to established policies and management guidance and act as advisor to unit, or sub-units and get involved as required to meet schedules or resolve problems.
• Establish and recommend changes to policies which affect subordinate organization(s).
• Interact frequently with subordinate supervisors, customers and/or functional peer group managers.
• Manage budget and schedule for moderately complex EH&S activities, including costs of contract labor, equipment and materials.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Bachelor´s Degree in Environmental Engineering or Industrial Safet or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in similar position in Electronic Manufacturing or Plastics, metals.
• Knowledge in the implementation of NO35 - STPS.
• Fluent English spoken and written.
• Knowledge in LOTO implementation.
• Database management (statistics).
• Knowledge of ISO 14000 & ISO 45000.
• Implementation of the self-management program of the labor secretary.
• Proven experience in clean industry implementation.
