Job Description

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Senior Developer - IT in Chennai, India.

To lead the design, development, customization, and optimization of Ivalua Source-to-Pay (S2P) solutions. This role requires deep technical expertise in Ivalua, strong understanding of procurement business processes, and the ability to mentor junior developers while collaborating with functional, business, and integration teams.

What a typical day looks like:

• Lead end-to-end technical design and development of Ivalua solutions across Sourcing, Supplier Management, Contract Management, Procurement, and Invoicing modules.
• Experienced in providing technical guidance, code reviews, and best practices.
• Manage and support the Ivalua upgrades, patches, and release cycles.
• Make architectural decisions on customization vs. configuration.
• Ensure compliance with security, performance, scalability, and data governance standards.
• Architect and implement complex customizations using Ivalua configuration, XML, and SQL.
• Design, develop, and support integrations between Ivalua and external systems (ERP, finance, third-party tools) using REST/SOAP APIs and web services.
• Act as a technical lead, providing guidance, code reviews, and best practices to junior and mid-level developers.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Lead upgrade, patching, and release management activities for the Ivalua platform.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive permanent fixes.
• Ensure solutions meet performance, security, scalability, and compliance standards.
• Own and maintain technical documentation, including solution designs, configurations, and support procedures.
• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to continuous improvement of development standards and processes.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• 8+ years of application development experience, with strong hands-on expertise in Ivalua.
• In-depth knowledge of Ivalua architecture, configuration framework, and customization capabilities.
• Strong proficiency in XML, SQL, and relational databases.
• Proven experience with enterprise system integrations, APIs, and middleware concepts.
• Solid understanding of Source-to-Pay (S2P) / Procure-to-Pay (P2P) business processes.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum and enterprise SDLC environments.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance-tuning skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience leading or contributing to multiple Ivalua implementations
• Alternatively exposure to ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or similar.
• Experience in cloud-based enterprise applications.
• Ivalua certification(s) preferred.
• Prior experience in a technical lead or solution architect–type role is a plus.
