Job Summary

Principle Accountabilities:Ensures accurate data collection.
Conducts internal audits following regulatory, industry and internal quality guidelines including ISO.
Conducts process audits and follow up closure of open audits.
Helps department in the root cause analysis and corrective actions of audits findings, tracking to resolution.
Initiates product/process improvements.
Helps filing of audits and maintenance of records.
Monitors and report metrics to meet business needs.
Prepares reject reports by identifying necessary information for follow up and analyzes rejects/defects for patterns of process errors or other areas of concern.
Provides immediate feedback to production areas concerning process deviations.
May be required to facilitate Quality Alert meetings.
May provide process training

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Typically requires an understanding of basic inspection techniques.
Demonstrates functional skills.
Requires basic competency related to function.
Demonstrates basic functional process knowledge and participates in process.
Has awareness of Flex techniques.
Use of the following skills/tools may be required: Electronic Assembly: color code, component, schematics, touch-up, commercial soldering, mechanical assembly, surface mount assembly, point to point wiring; Inspection: bare board, loaded, components, cable/harness, microscope, measuring tools; Mechanical & Electrical Tools: measuring tools; Office Skills: data entry, spreadsheet (PC), software. Typically requires data entry skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Internal certifications such as ESD, forklift, etc.

Scope / Impact:
Moderate impact, may have influence on multiple programs or areas.

Limited expectations to make decisions outside immediate work assignments. Decisions affect team

Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to work that requires repetitive motion. The employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit and talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk.
