Job Description

To support our data and analytics initiatives, we are looking to add a Denodo Developer who will be based in Chennai, India. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with the Denodo Data Virtualization platform

What a typical day looks like:

• Design, develop, and maintain Denodo virtual views (Base, Integration, and Business views).
• Integrate data from multiple heterogeneous data sources such as relational databases, cloud platforms, APIs, and flat files.
• Develop derived columns, calculated fields, aggregations, and business logic within Denodo.
• Perform performance tuning and optimization using caching, push-down techniques, and query optimization.
• Expose data through Denodo Data Services (REST/SOAP) for downstream applications and BI tools.
• Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and reporting teams to understand and implement requirements.
• Support deployments across DEV, QA, and PROD environments and assist with production support activities.
• Maintain proper documentation, metadata, and column descriptions in Denodo Data Catalog.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience working as a Denodo Developer.
• Strong experience in Denodo view development and data modeling.
• Proficiency in SQL, including complex joins, subqueries, and aggregations.
• Experience working with multiple data sources (Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake, APIs, flat files, etc.).
• Good understanding of Denodo architecture, caching, security, and performance tuning concepts.
• Experience supporting data consumption via BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau and Micro Strategy.
• Familiarity with Denodo Data Catalog, Scheduler, and monitoring is a plus.
• Exposure to cloud data platforms and enterprise data environments is desirable.

Experience in the below technologies:

• Denedo
• Database – Snowflake/SQL Server/Oracle.
• Should be strong in SQL & PL/SQL, Database and Reporting tools
