Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Facilities Engineer located in Guadalajara, North Campus.

Reporting to the **Facilities Manager,**the Facilities Engineer is responsible for ensuring the continuous, safe, and efficient operation of site infrastructure, general services, and critical systems. This role ensures equipment availability, resource optimization, coordination of preventive and corrective maintenance, and compliance with applicable quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Manage the operation and maintenance of electrical systems, HVAC, hydraulic, pneumatic, vacuum systems, and other critical building equipment.
  • Supervise and coordinate preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance services.
  • Manage facility improvement, expansion, or modification projects (layout changes, HVAC, energy, utilities).
  • Manage suppliers and contractors, validating scope of work, quality, and regulatory compliance.
  • Monitor energy, water, and utility consumption to identify savings and efficiency opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable safety, health, and environmental regulations.
  • Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintenance plans.
  • Support and respond to internal and external audits.
  • Generate KPI reports, operational metrics, and maintenance cost tracking.
  • Coordinate emergency response related to building infrastructure and critical systems.
  • Develop and integrate critical variables into the Building Management System (BMS).

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

  • BA/BS as an industrial engineer or afield.
  • Background in automotive, electronics, metal‑mechanical, or PCBA manufacturing environments.
  • Experience in operation and maintenance of industrial facilities and management of production support systems.
  • Hands-on experience with: HVAC systems, Electrical panels and power distribution, UPS systems.
  • Strong Knowledge with generators and emergency power plants.
  • Experience with Compressed Air Systems.
  • Strong experience in production maintenance and facilities management.
  • Proven experience leading and supervising personnel.
  • Intermediate English Skills.
  • Strong problem‑solving capability, ability to work under pressure, and effective coordination skills.
  • Schedule availability.
