Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams that build great products and contribute to our growth, we are looking to add a Direct Buyer located in Aguascalientes.

Reporting to the Materials Manager, the Direct Buyer position involves being responsible for coordinating activities related to the acquisition of direct materials, components, and equipment.

What a typical day looks like:

• Review requisitions and MRP outputs.
• Communicate with suppliers to obtain information about products or services, such as pricing, availability, and delivery lead times.
• Determine the procurement method, such as direct purchase.
• Place orders, reschedule, and cancel material based on requests and planning results.
• Manage supplier compliance with price, delivery, and quality expectations, and escalate issues when necessary.
• Approve invoices for payment.
• Expedite the delivery of goods to users.
• Maintain purchasing records, reports, and metrics.
• Follow up from purchase order placement through supplier payment and material receipt in the system.
• Coordinate with the warehouse to resolve any receiving issues.

The experience we are looking to add to our team:

• Bachelor’s degree or engineering degree completed.
• Intermediate to advanced English.
• Previous experience with MRP.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
• Knowledge of BAAN (as a plus).
