Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a SRProduct Engineer located in Guadalajara, North Campus.

Reporting to the Process Engineering Manager the role will be responsible for receiving, evaluating, cleaning, and customizing all technical information / documentation from the customer related to their product, derived from a New Product Introduction (NPI) and New Technology Introduction team ( NTI) to establish all necessary processes to manufacture it by maintaining its design and performance integrity.

What a typical day looks like:

• Handle product transfer and new product set up.
• Support production by assessing product engineering issues of diverse scope that arise on production line.
• Suggest improvements to process to obtain improved quality and production yield.
• Solve product related problems and perform failure evaluation related to product issues.
• Interact with customer and various departments on product related issues
• Suggest modification to work instructions, material, or product changes to ensure excellent quality of products.
• Customer´s Bill of Material (BOM) evaluation and structure definition for production

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
• Strong knowledge in electronics/ assembly /SCP process and strong insight for latest production/product technology trend.
• Fluent English skill for both oral and written.
• Experience driving organizations with more than 30 engineers and technicians in sustaining & NPI environment.
• Strong ability to handle different Models.
• Experience creating BOMs and component lists.
• Design, drawing, and updating of new product parts; ability to read and interpret dimensions, tolerances, schematics, and engineering drawings.
