Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an Process Engineering Manager located in Guadalajara, North.

Reporting to the VP, Operations, Process Engineering Manager role involves Manage a team of engineers and technicians to establish and maintain statistical process control systems.

What a typical day looks like:

• Establish and improve process capabilities.
• Develop and maintain process documentation.
• Manage development projects that are designed to meet customer product specifications, delivery and cost expectations.
• Work with other engineering team members to design new products that can be manufactured.
• Improve throughput in constrained areas.
• Develop, test and implement new materials and processes for improved performance and/or lower cost and lead cost reduction efforts in assigned process areas.
• Partner with other engineering team members to design new products that can be manufactured.
• Lead initiatives to increase throughput, reduce cost and improve performance in constrained areas.
• Implement appropriate HR strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• BA/BS or equivalent work experience
• Experience in SMT and assembly
• Managing multiple clients
• Advanced English
• Troubleshooting tools
• Equipment management experience (engineering and technical)
• Experience with NPI
• Process improvement
• Management of project development to satisfy client needs
• Improve operation metrics
• Lead initiatives to reduce costs and improve performance of problem areas
