Job Summary
In our Design Center in Timisoara our team creates technologies for the Automotive Market. Our power electronics portfolio includes Onboard Chargers, 48V and High-voltage DC/DC Converters.
To support our design team, we are currently looking for a Test Development Team Lead located in Timisoara Vox Technology Park.

What a typical day looks like:
- You will provide leadership by guiding the team, setting direction, and enabling strong performance.
- Use your technical background to support testing activities and contribute to overall product quality
- Support the development and improvement of test systems to enable effective and reliable testing.
- You will test system concepts for flex product designs (black box) and customer design (white/grey box) according stakeholder/system requirements
- Create product specific tester block diagram for test system
- Benchmark & compare critical test instruments like Power Supplies, electr. Loads, Current measurement, Relays.
- Create test solutions for new interface types based on Automotive Trends (e.g. 10BaseT1S, GMSL, FPD Link, SENT, PSI5, DSI3…)
- Identify scalable test solutions for similar channels (Validation tester concept).
- Identify alternative solutions with best cost approach.
- Maintain supplier data base with test instruments and test equipment
- Pursuit & support new business / Change Requests
- Global T&V Quotes
- System Integration/Qualification Test (SYS.4 & SYS.5)
- Identify issues/blocker and look for solutions in local IT infrastructure to ensure efficient work & test environment
- Conduct Global T&V roadmap activities and update status presentations
- Concept design and development of complex qualification and test systems for automotive power products;
- Implementation of software and hardware integration tests;
- Maintenance and debugging on existing test system;
- Programming and implementation of software and hardware integration tests;
- Design & Development support for failure analysis and regression testing.
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
- University Degree (preferably: Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics);
- Experience providing general leadership — guiding teams, setting direction, and supporting strong day‑to‑day performance.
- A solid technical background that helps you contribute to testing activities and overall product quality.
- Familiarity with developing or improving test systems, tools, or processes that support effective testing.
- Knowledge or experience in the following areas: automotive systems, electronics, working with Autosar: VT System; Can; Canoe; National Instruments: Test Stand and Lab View.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to understand complex systems;
- Self-reliant, structured, and proactive way of working;
- Demonstrated years of experience in automotive test field;
- Knowledge into test system development on the basis of specified standards and requirements;
- System knowledge of power products;
- Strong communication skills in English;
- Work experience with power products (DCDC, OBC, high voltage products) is a plus.
