Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Sr. Manager, Facilities and Maintenance located in Dallas, TX.

Reporting to the **General Manager,**the Sr. Manager, Facilities and Maintenance is responsible for the strategic leadership, operational excellence, and continuous improvement of all facilities and maintenance functions across the site. This role oversees building systems, manufacturing and support equipment, infrastructure, sanitation, safety, and regulatory compliance to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations.

This position leads maintenance and facilities teams, manages vendor relationships, drives preventive and predictive maintenance programs, oversees capital projects, and ensures compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements. The Senior Manager plays a critical role in minimizing downtime, optimizing facility performance, and supporting long-term operational and business objectives.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Hires, trains, develops, and leads facilities, maintenance, and sanitation staff.

  • Oversees daily workflow, staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation.

  • Provides strategic and operational leadership for facilities and maintenance functions.

  • Leads internal teams and external contractors across maintenance, construction, and infrastructure projects.

  • Participates in site and cross-functional leadership initiatives.

  • Ensure all assigned facilities, buildings, utilities, and equipment are operational, safe, and ready to support business needs.

  • Oversee mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and building automation systems.

  • Lead and execute comprehensive preventive maintenance (PM) programs to maximize equipment reliability and reduce unplanned downtime.

  • Ensure timely repairs, upgrades, and lifecycle management of machinery and facility infrastructure.

  • Oversee maintenance of manufacturing and material-handling equipment (e.g., press brakes, punch presses, cranes, forklifts).

  • Inspect facilities, equipment, and work areas to identify safety, reliability, and efficiency improvements.

  • Plan, budget, and manage facility modifications, expansions, renovations, and capital improvement projects.

  • Develop cost estimates, bid packages, layouts, schedules, and project timelines.

  • Coordinate design, planning, construction, installation, and commissioning activities.

  • Evaluate space utilization, layouts, and workflows to improve efficiency and capacity.

  • Develop and manage departmental operating and capital budgets.

  • Analyze maintenance and facility costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.

  • Approve purchase orders and manage service contracts within budget guidelines.

  • Maintain accurate records of warranties, licenses, inspections, service agreements, and contracts.

  • Source, negotiate with, and manage external vendors, contractors, and service providers.

  • Oversee contracted services including equipment servicing, construction, utilities, and cleaning services.

  • Ensure vendor work meets specifications, safety standards, timelines, and quality expectations.

  • Standardize facilities and maintenance processes to improve efficiency and reliability.

  • Analyze performance data, downtime trends, and root causes to drive improvements.

  • Support long-range facilities planning, capital outlay forecasting, and site master planning.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in facilities and maintenance management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

  • Previous experience leading maintenance and facilities teams required.

  • Experience managing complex production facilities and industrial equipment strongly preferred.

  • Advanced knowledge of facilities and maintenance best practices in a manufacturing environment.

  • Strong technical expertise in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and building systems.

  • Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve complex facility and equipment issues.

  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and capital projects.

  • Working knowledge of OSHA, environmental, and safety regulations.

  • Proven leadership, team development, and change management skills.

  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Strong communication skills with ability to present to senior leadership.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and facility management or maintenance systems.
