Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a/an Manufacturing Engineering Director located in Zhuhai.
Reporting to **GM,**the **Manufacturing Engineering Director **role is responsible for working with Engineering Leaders, Manufacturing Operations Management, Product Managers and other Engineering and Operational functional leaders, to lead product solutions of varying scope in order to meet customer requirements from product design, NPI and mass production through full-scale production management.
What a typical day looks like:
- Provide technical and strategic guidance to site management team and partner with other function leaders to establish objectives and action plans in technology engineering field.
- Develop and continuously improve methods, systems and processes in a complex and rapidly changing environment to improve customer satisfaction.
- Organize and lead reviews to ensure products are delivered on time, as per cost targets and within quality specifications.
- Successfully guide and influence site management team and key clients in their decision input needs.
- Interface with customers to derive and evolve technical solutions and partner with operations to ensure the solutions are well integrated with manufacturing operations.
- Ensure budget, schedules and performance indicators meet site KOI and customer expectations.
- Engage customers and develop customer relationships through improving product competitiveness, introducing new technology, requirements gathering and feedback activities.
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in an engineering related field or equivalent experience. A Master’s or MBA degree is preferred.
- At least 8 years Engineering and operation management experience in E-cigarette manufacturing.
- Demonstrates mastery of end to end process management especially in SMT process management, box build, packing.
- Excellent in oral English and ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents.
- Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.
- Proficient in writing speeches and articles using original or innovative techniques or style.
- Be good at making effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, public groups, and customers.
- Proactive to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
- Great collaboration skills to lead multi-function teams, make educated decisions and drive action plans for progress.
