Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a **Process Engineering Sr Manager (SMT)**located in Guadalajara, North Campus.

Reporting to the **Director, Operations Engineering,**the role is responsible for managing a team of process engineers working on improving process engineering capabilities to support a specific area of a manufacturing organization.

What a typical day looks like:

• Manage a team of engineers and technicians to establish and maintain statistical process control systems.

• Establish and improve process capabilities.

• Develop and maintain process documentation.

• Manage development projects that are designed to meet customer product specifications, delivery, and cost expectations.

• Work with other engineering team members to design new products that can be manufactured.

• Improve throughput in constrained areas.

• Develop, test, and implement new materials and processes for improved performance and/or lower cost and manage cost reduction efforts in assigned process areas.

• Partner with other engineering team members to design new products that can be manufactured.

• Coordinate initiatives to increase throughput, reduce cost and improve performance in constrained areas.

• Implement appropriate HR strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.

Experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• BA/BS or equivalent work experience.

• 5+ years of experience as a Process Engineering Manager or Senior Process Engineer.

• Strong experience in SMT manufacturing processes, from solder paste printing through final assembly, including critical and advanced assemblies with high levels of automation.

• Extensive technical background in process engineering, with strong problem‑solving and optimization capabilities.

• Intermediate to Advanced English proficiency, able to effectively communicate with customers and deliver presentations.

• Proven experience in people management, including leading and developing engineering teams.

• Hands-on experience implementing Poka‑Yoke (error‑proofing) solutions.

• Experience with liquid cooling technologies is a plus (nice to have).
