Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Operations Manager located in Northfield, MN.

Reporting to the **General Manager,**the **Operations Manager **will be responsible for effectively managing all strategic operational processes and resources and managing an organization in order to achieve and maintain operational excellence.

What a typical day looks like:

• Manage appropriate staffing and inventory levels.
• Oversee the assembly operations to meet corporate KOI.
• Supervise production staff on work method and quality checkpoints.
• Coordinate with other departments and other Flex sites to drive for excellence.
• Coordinate efforts of operations team by establishing procurement, production and engineering services policies and practices.
• Ensure ISO and safety standards are adhered to.
• Report to Senior Management team in weekly operations reviews.
• Coach and mentor Operations team.
• Leverage industry practices and apply to internal systems and processes.
• Implement appropriate HR strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
• 6 – 8 years of operations experience in similar role in the electronic manufacturing industry, including supervision.
• People and/or process management skills as well as customer.
• Prior experience supporting operations in a union environment.
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple tasks, deadlines, and stakeholders while maintaining attention to detail.
• Working usage of Word, Excel and Power Point, ERP software (Oracle).
