Overview:
We are seeking a Venture Builder focused on AI Innovation to ideate, validate, and launch AI-driven startups from concept to early traction. You will work at the intersection of technology, product, and entrepreneurship to turn emerging AI capabilities into scalable businesses
Roles and Responsibilities:

This is not an “AI strategy” role — this is a 0→1 builder position for someone who can architect intelligent systems, validate markets, and spin out venture-scale businesses

The ideal candidate must be external facing and can readily build relationships across startups, venture capital firms, startup accelerators, and other ecosystem partners

Discern how News Break can support project/portfolio company growth trajectories through technical enablement (user acquisition, product-led growth, monetization etc.)

Lead internal fund operations, including quarterly reporting, fund administration, marketing efforts, portfolio gatherings, annual meetings, and platform operations
You might thrive in this role if you have:

Computer Science, Engineering, or any hard sciences degree (undergraduate, masters or PhD) from top tier University
-
Software engineering, ML engineering experience; Founder experience preferred

Progressive business experience in early-stage venture investing or recent graduate from top-tier MBA
-
Existing network in the San Francisco Bay Area’s startup ecosystem
-
Founder’s mindset, builder’s mentality and strong problem-solving skills
-
Excellent communication, influencing and interpersonal skills and strong executive presence with an ability to present thoughtful input to decision-making
-
Passion for innovative technologies and artificial intelligence, with a strong pulse on key trends, themes and players
Hourly Pay: $50- $60
