The Team
The Marketing Planning team is strategically embedded within the LATAM region, acting as the primary liaison between local teams and the broader global organization. With a focus on project management and cross-market communication, this function connects local initiatives to global campaign priorities and resources. They are thought partners who ensure strategic alignment and serve as advocates for countries in regional and global forums. With full visibility across the slate, the Marketing Planning team plays a pivotal role in facilitating title import and export workflows, enabling speed, decision-making, and creativity while ensuring all titles and initiatives are on strategy. The Marketing Planner does not lead creative campaigns or executions. This role is designed to enable the successful execution of campaigns and ensure that local market opportunities are fully realized within the context of Netflix’s broader strategic objectives.
The Opportunity
The Marketing Planning Manager will operate in a dual capacity, with distinct but interconnected focuses:
Regional Marketing Planner (LATAM)
In this capacity, the Marketing Planning Manager serves as a strategic connector between the LATAM and Global teams, leading the import of campaigns into LATAM. This includes ensuring that global Marketing teams have strong local input from our region throughout the lifecycle of a campaign to facilitate the title’s export process and guarantee that strategies developed globally are informed, coherent, and executable in LATAM. The planner is also a key strategic advisor to the LATAM team during local campaign development, ensuring the title’s global strategic objectives are met in local executions.
SOLA Planner (Argentina & Chile)
In this capacity, the Marketing Planning Manager is a key partner for SOLA, acting as a planner deeply invested in the specific needs, priorities, and opportunities of Argentina and Chile. This includes orchestrating the export of titles and initiatives from SOLA to the wider region and global teams, facilitating smooth integration with supporting global partners. Through strategic counsel, proactive knowledge‑sharing, and close partnership with local stakeholders, this individual ensures that the SOLA perspective is consistently championed, that high‑potential local titles and projects are identified and scaled, and that SOLA’s business goals are fully represented within the global organization.
