At Netflix, our mission is to entertain the world. Together, we are writing the next episode - pushing the boundaries of storytelling, global fandom and making the unimaginable a reality. We are a dream team obsessed with the uncomfortable excitement of discovering what happens when you merge creativity, intuition and cutting-edge technology. Come be a part of what’s next.
The Opportunity
Do you live and breathe entertainment and the business of entertainment? Do you stay ahead of the curve and take in the latest films, TV shows, and games across different services? Are you passionate about fandom, culture, retail and the world-building extensions, including merchandise and experiences, that take entertainment beyond the screen? Are you interested in the executives, deals, and partners who make it happen? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment? Are you a creative thinker who loves finding solutions to tricky problems or new angles to pitch stories? If this sounds like you, we are looking for you to join our team!
The Role
The Specialist, Communications is a key contributor on the team responsible for promoting and protecting Netflix’s reputation for series, films, live events and games. Track, vet, and respond to media requests; developing and nurturing media contacts.
Identify impactful story angles, craft pitches, and secure stories centered around Netflix’s consumer products and experiences.

5+ years of experience in corporate or agency settings preferably within retail, consumer products, brand, lifestyle, and experiences.
Ability to leverage insights, develop and secure stories aligned to company priorities.
Good media relationships at traditional and emerging entertainment, consumer, trade and business outlets.
