Job Summary

AI Knowledge-Base team at Net App is developing a state-of-the-art platform to solve the AI at scale challenges of the biggest enterprises.

Our team is looking to hire a Senior Backend Engineer. In this role, you will:

  • Have a major impact on the design and technological decisions in a large-scale project.
  • Gain significant knowledge and experience on the foundations of Agentic workloads with a focus on the data layers.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and performant solutions.
  • Promote the usage of best practices for quality while being creative.
  • Evaluate new technologies and keep up with the recent changes in the fields of Agentic AI.

Job Requirements

  • At least 8 years of backend hands-on coding and software design experience.
  • Relevant BSc/MSc degree in Computer Science, Software engineering, or equivalent
  • Work experience with cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
  • Strong knowledge of system design and architecture.
  • Work experience with SQL & NoSQL databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL/Redis/MongoDB, or similar).
  • Proficiency in Python or Node.js.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality software in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Understanding DevOps concepts from a developer perspective (i.e, CI/CD, IaaC)

Advantages:

  • Previous experience developing production RAG pipelines and RAG architecture
  • Previous experience developing production AI agents.
  • Significant work experience with Python.
  • Experience with developing Data Platforms/ETL systems,
  • Experience with distributed messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ.
  • Experience with micro-services architecture
