Job Summary
Net App’s Intranet Strategy and Communications Solutions is looking for a senior technical program manager to join our team. Your primary responsibilities will be working with stakeholders to define and manage solutions for internal Share Point-based web sites, and overseeing Polite Mail, our email analytics program. This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week remote position.
Job Description
Senior Program Manager responsibilities include:
- Lead and/or assist in stakeholder training; this includes content development, scheduling, teaching, regularly updating support materials, and writing monthly articles
- Assist stakeholders with issues and provide in depth technical information on Share Point and other tools; understand and troubleshoot permissions as required
- Understand, advocate for and manage stakeholder requests – create specifications, manage timelines, edit sites, propose layouts, track and test changes, engage with IT, communicate progress and meeting decisions
- Manage the development of new Share Point features, in partnership with other intranet teams; this includes understanding technical user requirements, UI, governance requirements and launch implications
- Develop and track Share Point metrics regarding usage, engagement, and customer satisfaction
- Lead projects associated with our workflow and email metrics tools, which includes meeting monthly with vendors, understanding/tracking licenses, updating training materials, setting up and training stakeholders, testing new releases, developing workflows, communicating regularly with stakeholders, and providing quarterly metrics
- Communicate proactively with the Intranet Strategy & Comms Solutions team, IT and stakeholders through email, our Zendesk ticketing system, Zoom, Teams, etc
- Investigate new tools and technologies, and manage internal sites and tools for Corporate Communications
Requirements
The ideal candidate is detail oriented, multi-faceted, a creative problem solver and comfortable working with teams who are remote (via phone, Zoom, email, IM, etc.). The candidate also has:
- Excellent communications skills (oral and written)
- Ability to manage schedules, priorities and deadlines for multiple projects
- Detail oriented, methodical
- Knowledge of:
- HTML and/or other web-based technologies
- Microsoft Share Point & Teams
- Microsoft Office 365 products
- 5 to 7 years of industry experience
- 3 to 5 years in-depth knowledge of email analytics solutions (Polite Mail is a plus)
- 3 to 5 years in-depth knowledge of Share Point web parts, lists, permissions, and workflows
- 2 to 3 years of training experience
- Technical college degree (BS or BA in Computer Science or Engineering is a plus)
- Customer-focused attitude
- Ability to research technical questions
- Ability to troubleshoot coding and application issues
- Willing to learn and open to taking on new roles and responsibilities
Compensation:
The target salary range for this position is 170,000 - 210,000 USD. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off, various Leave options, Performance-Based Incentives, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU’s), with all offerings subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies.
