Job Summary

Net App is seeking an experienced and strategic Senior HR Business Partner to support Japan business. Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, APJ&I, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the organizational culture, optimizing talent strategies, driving HR initiatives, fostering a high-performance work environment, enabling business objectives, and fostering a positive workplace culture within Net App, Japan. The ideal candidate will build effective, trusting business relationships and partnerships across the organization and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Job Requirements

  • Develop a deep understanding of various business units, business operations, objectives, and challenges and provide strategic HR guidance.
    Build strong partnerships with senior leadership and stakeholders across, GTM, Product, Finance & Buss. Tech & Ops and act as a trusted advisor on all human resources matters.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to build HR strategies that address unique needs while ensuring compliance & alignment with global frameworks.
    Enable a high-performance work culture, overseeing initiatives that enhance employee productivity, engagement, and satisfaction.
  • Influence talent decisions, including leading workforce planning initiatives, org design frameworks, talent reviews, recruitment, development, and succession planning, ensuring the right people are in the right roles to drive business success.
    Utilize HR metrics and analytics to measure the impact of HR initiatives, providing regular reports to senior leadership on the effectiveness of HR programs for the team.
  • Lead change management initiatives ensuring effective communication, addressing challenges, and promoting a positive and adaptive culture.
    Work with HR Center of Excellence leaders and across HRBP leadership to develop and implement coordinated talent strategies, combining HRBP insights to attract, develop, and retain top talent.
  • Advocate for employees by ensuring fair and consistent HR practices, addressing concerns, and maintaining a positive and inclusive work environmen

Key Requirements:

  • At least 12 years of experience as an HR Business Partner, preferably with a technology MNC.
  • Strong experience supporting GTM/ Sales Organization.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.
  • Proven ability to manage change and drive HR initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Requires a systems thinker with strong business acumen and outcome focus.
  • Ability to inspire and influence to drive company-wide transformation.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and translate business objectives into HR initiatives.
