Role Objective The Demand Analyst’s objective is to support the Demand Planning community to improve and excel in DP processes. The Demand Analyst is responsible for generating all demand-related performance reports and helping demand scientists in forecast generation by providing insights on pockets that need improvement. Key Responsibilities Generate all demand planning related reports and metrics that support improvement of the statistical forecast. Establish and monitor standard key performance indicators across demand planning (e.g., forecast accuracy, bias, OSF freshness, etc.). Foster collaboration between demand planners and demand planning data scientists. Continuously review and optimize demand planning processes to eliminate inefficiencies, reduce manual intervention, and automate tasks wherever possible. Share the generated statistical forecast and demand sensing forecast with demand planners, along with key highlights and watch-out items. Compare the statistical forecast and the signed-off demand plan to identify the enrichment ratio from the market based on the segmentation methodology (e.g., animal farm). Evaluate and lead the implementation of demand planning software and tools to streamline and enhance demand planning processes. Provide training and mentorship to the demand planning community to enhance their skills and expertise.
