JOB DESCRIPTION
The NUSA Project Manager executes and supports complex end‑to‑end transformation initiatives across Nestlé North America, managing the full project lifecycle—from planning and budgeting to execution, evaluation, and closure. The role applies strong project management fundamentals, analytical skills, and business acumen to deliver on business objectives.
Working in a matrixed, cross‑functional environment, this role focuses on hands‑on execution, coordination, problem‑solving, and influencing without authority. The role partners closely with the steering Committees, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with strategic priorities.
The position contributes to transformation efforts such as org design, integrations, acquisitions, divestitures, and technology implementations. Senior Specialists typically start with smaller or function‑driven projects, increasing in scale and complexity as they build Nestlé knowledge, stakeholder management capability, and business acumen.
The NUSA Project Manager functionally reports to the NUSA Director of Project Management while administratively reporting the to North America NBS Lead. The role is based Manila.
This role requires:
- Execution and Delivery:
- Execute defined project plans and workstreams across transformation initiatives
- Support project governance, cadence, and documentation to ensure consistent delivery
- Track milestones, risks, issues, and dependencies; escalate appropriately
- Apply project management standards, tools, and methodologies consistently
- Collaborate:
- Partner with cross-functional teams and key roles with the projects (as defined per RACI) and support integrated solutions
- Communicate effectively across functions and levels to support project progress
- Contribute to stakeholder engagement activities and change adoption efforts
- Business Acumen:
- Understand the Nestle USA and North American business environment and Nestlé operating model
- Apply critical thinking to assess impacts, risks, and tradeoffs
- Focus on how assigned project workstreams deliver value to the business
WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL TO THIS ROLE...Experience & Leadership
- 4–8 years of Project Management experience, including team leadership and budget/personnel oversight.
- Strong leadership and people development skills; able to influence across matrixed and cross functional teams.
- Proven ability to deliver results in complex environments.
Project Delivery
- Experience managing cross functional projects and large transformation initiatives.
- Background in process improvement, technology implementations, shared services, or M&A projects.
- SAP or enterprise system implementation experience preferred.
Interpersonal Skills
- Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills.
- Ability to work effectively across diverse cultures and global teams.
- Excellent influencing, communication, and collaboration abilities.
Certifications
- PMP or equivalent Project Management certification (required).
- Prosci, HCI, or similar Change Management certification (preferred).
