Position Summary
The Translation Specialist managing day-to-day operations enabling reliable, scalable, and brand-safe delivery for the NBS AI Translation Solution Line. He/she works in close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders including IMS Global team, IT MSE & NBS, Brand Teams, and Ops teams.
A day in the life of...
- Maintaining and operationalizing brand/legal/regulatory translation guidelines plus any other relevant material that impacts the translation outputs including but not limited to glossaries, SEO and e Retail guidelines, translation memories at global and local/ regional level.
- Creating and maintaining rapport with stakeholders and partners including external vendors, Content Solutions colleagues, cross-functional teams, and brand stakeholders.
- Ensuring documentation integrity and usability by following and enforcing clear tracking, versioning, improvement, and governance. This includes keeping records of prompts updates and testing.
- Coordinating Language Quality Assurance (LQA) activities including planning, execution coordination, and consolidation of outputs.
- Facilitating the onboarding activities of new brands and markets, namely: conducting kick-off meeting, ensuring brands provide the necessary documentation, processing the documentation for AI translation, ensuring brand validation, and working with technical teams for prompt implementation.
- Addressing ad hoc translation support requests from brands and markets users, for example: service line information, tool usage, specific translation processes.
Serving as Level 2 escalation point (mid-complexity) for repeated service line minor issues.

He/she supports the success of the IMS AI Translation Service Line and team by:
- Participating in the discovery and testing of new technology use cases.
- Supporting the end users feedback loop to ensure excellent user experience and feedback usability.
- Participating in discovery discussions to gather requirements for service improvements and new features with Translation Lead and stakeholders.
- Suggesting and sharing insight on optimization, automation, and augmentation for the service line operations.
What will make you successful
- Bachelor's degree in on Translation studies or related field
- 3+ years of experience in translation delivery within translation agencies or translation product development
- Strong project management, stakeholder management, and cross functional coordination expertise
- Experience creating and maintaining translation and linguistic documentation.
- Practical exposure to AI/ML translation tools .
- Experience with translation quality assurance, including interpreting quality patterns and signals.
- Ability to collect, read, and critically analyze data to inform decision making.
- Escalation and incident management experience (triage, root cause analysis, coordinating vendors).
- Hands on experience supporting the deployment and adoption of new technology.
- Fluent in Spanish or Portuguese is preferred
