Finance & Control Intern - Nestlé Waters Benelux (Perrier, S.Pellegrino, Vittel, Contrex, etc)

Are you eager to build hands-on finance experience in a fast-moving FMCG environment? At Nestlé Waters & Premium Beverages, our portfolio includes popular brands such as Perrier, Vittel, Contrex and S.Pellegrino, each with its unique characteristics and target audience.
As a Finance & Control Intern at Nestlé Waters Benelux, you will support the Finance team in core controlling activities and business analysis. Working closely with senior business controllers, you will contribute to financial insights that support decision-making, challenge assumptions, and improve financial performance. This role offers broad exposure to financial closing, forecasting, and performance monitoring within an international organization.
Your Responsibilities :

Support the Finance team in closing activities and periodic reporting (monthly, quarterly, annually), including analysis and preparation of management-ready presentations

Perform periodic controls to ensure accuracy and consistency between forecasted and actual results, with a particular focus on Commercial Conditions, Cost of Goods Sold, Marketing spend, and other key financial drivers

Contribute to the forecasting and planning process, supporting data preparation, reviews, and follow-up with stakeholders

Work closely with Business Controllers, Sales, and other Nestlé functions to ensure financial alignment and data reliability

Identify process inefficiencies and opportunities for optimisation in ways of working, proactively proposing improvements and escalating issues when relevant
What will make you successful?

You are fluent in English (working language)

You are pursuing or have completed a university degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field

You communicate clearly and effectively, both in writing and verbally
-
You are a problem-solver: you search for solutions independently, analyse root causes, and explore options before reaching out for support

You demonstrate autonomy, curiosity, and a strong sense of responsibility in your work

You are well-organised, able to manage priorities, and comfortable working with deadlines
-
You have strong MS Excel skills; knowledge of SAP and/or Power BI is an advantage
