We are currently looking for a Shift Leader to join our Balıkesir Factory team.
Location: Balıkesir
Type of contract: Permanent
As a Shift Leader,you will have the following responsibilities;

Lead the Safety Culture and conditions for a Safe Working Environment
-
Check and enforce personnel hygiene & safety procedures
-
Confirmation of occupational safety requirements at the shopfloor with the Safety Health & Environment Expert
-
Ensure proper use of Line performance recording systems used at the Factory and defined digital tools.
-
Ensure labour, material and production availability during the shift and their variances in the lines are tracked and delivers the targets
-
Ensure that any deviations are investigated by using problem solving technics and root cause is defined and all corrective actions are captured
-
Ensure opex saving opportunities are investigated and initiated
-
Contribute to sustainably meet the Factory strategy targets in order to accelerate the business ambition
-
Adopt and nurture a working style which actively involves and motivates colleagues, promoting an environment of continuous improvement and excellence
-
Ensure that finished products are consistently manufactured according to standards of quality and relevant manufacturing instructions (compliance).

Following, recording and taking necessarry actions for rework, waste, return and blocked proceses.

Ensure that the working all areas are kept clean and maintained in working order including all operations & installations in accordance to Nestlé Good Manufacturing Practices and 5S Standards.

Manage Production effectively through operational reviews and use Standard Routines (SDCA) to ensure sustainable results. Use of Basic Problem Solving tools and knowledge sharing to drive continuous improvements.

Ensure the identified development plan and assure the competencies of the team (incl. Temporary people) as per the agreed plan with Manufacturing Manager

Ensure constant dialogue and alignment with relevant stakeholders
Which profile are we looking for?
-
Bachelor’s or master’s degree (Food Engineering or related fields)
-
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role in manufacturing industry with direct management of Blue Collars, preferably in FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods)
-
Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment
-
Ability to demonstrate coaching techniques
-
Demonstrate and understanding of Safety, Engineering, Quality and Labour regulations
-
Excellent command of English
-
Living in Balıkesir or willing to move to Balıkesir
-
Able to work with Shifts
-
Mobility around Europe will be a strong advantage
