Category Analyst
THE OPPORTUNITY
We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and motivated Category Analyst to join our passionate and high performing category team in Nestle Professional.
You will get the opportunity to work on and with some really exciting out of home customers such as Mc Donald’s, Royal Caribbean Cruises, Hungry Jacks, Accor Hotels, Virgin Australia to name just a few. The role will work across the majority of Nestle brands including but not limited to Kit Kat, Allens, Nescafe, Maggi and Starbucks.
This is the perfect opportunity if you have a strong drive to succeed, proactive attitude and ability to work with autonomy. If successful in role, a future opportunity would be to move into a Category Development Executive role where you will work closer with the sales team and customers with category insights and presentations.
A DAY IN THE LIFE...
- You will join a fun and dynamic team where you will provide category, commercial and analytical data support to grow customer categories through our iconic and well-loved brands.
- You will assist the Category & Commercial Team to support their internal and external data both in the processing of the data and providing analysis on it
- This is a great opportunity to specialise within category utilising your analytical ability, excel skills and developing your data enhancement further
WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL?
- You will need to be passionate about data and how it can inform business critical decisions
- The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills and be working within FMCG industry.
- You will have a strong attention to detail and have a collaborative approach.
- You will have experience with FMCG data companies such as Nielsen (Scan & Homescan), Global Data or Quantium and advanced excel skills
- Your capacity to turn data into meaningful insights will be fundamental to your success, as well as delivering on time and in full to meet your objectives.
