Minimum Educational qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Process/Mechanical Engineering or in another Engineering field with relevant work experience.
Minimum Relevant work experience:
Minimum of 5 to 10 years’ experience in capital investment project management and/or process engineering.

Nestlé is currently looking for a Project Engineerat our Nestlé Research and Development Center in Abidjan to manage and / or perform the design, implementation and start-up phases of capital investment projects on the R&D site, within the defined scope of responsibility or specialization. Ensure that the objectives of the investment project charter, design specifications and Nestlé standards are implemented and adhered to.
Your Responsibilities..
- Lead and execute capital investment projects end to end.
- Promote development of environmental-friendly and sustainable solutions and mobilize resources (internal & external)
- Be the owner of the Management of Change process for the site
- Manage the utility distribution systems for the site. Liase with Yopougon factory to ensure reliable supply
- Manage the Nestle Investment Management tool (online tool to submit and track capital investments)
- Track the capital investment expenditure for the entire site
- Support the Engineering Maintenance team where needed
- Perform Engineering Functional Compliance Assessments and implement required actions.
What Will Make You Successful?
- Bachelor’s degree in Process/Mechanical Engineering or in another Engineering field with relevant work experience.
- 5-10 years of working experience.
- Nestlé experience will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of the food industry and hygienic engineering.
- A well-structed and organized individual .
- Ability to easily connect with other teams .
- Electrical, automation and civil engineering experience is a plus.
- Ability to communicate in English (spoken & written) is mandatory.
- Project management qualification (PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
- Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Microsoft Project.
- Knowledge on the basics of AutoCAD .
- Understanding of industrial services will be a great advantage.
