Job Summary:
The Senior Pricing Analyst (Contract Pricing) will be responsible for shaping and executing pricing strategies that align with Nestlé Health Science’s (NHSc) broader channel, platform, and customer objectives. This position is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting pricing data to support strategic decision-making and ensure long-term value creation in the marketplace with a focus on Nestle Health Science USA’s Medical Nutrition brands across the continuum of care within the healthcare channel.
The Senior Pricing Analyst will also lead the development and coordination of pricing processes for both new and renewal business opportunities, including financial modeling, margin analysis, and competitive benchmarking. This role will prepare and present pricing recommendations through the pricing approval process, offering strategic insights and guidance to the sales organization on pricing and contractual matters. Additionally, this position utilizes digital tools and innovative technologies to enhance delivery and effectiveness, while consistently exploring emerging digital trends to remain at the forefront of industry standards.
This position will be either a remote or hybrid role based on the selected candidate’s geographic location. Strong preference will be given to applicants who live within a commutable distance of our offices within Bridgewater, New Jersey or Eden Prairie, Minnesota.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for gathering, preparing, and analyzing relevant market, channel, and pricing, information that contributes to the development of NHSc pricing strategies.
- Understand how pricing strategies align to Channel, Platform, and Customer Strategies to drive long term value in the marketplace.
- Participate in the Pricing Approval Process and provide insight/direction to the sales organization related to pricing and contractual issues.
- Responsible for ongoing coordination of pricing process for new and renewal business including:
– Financial analysis of opportunity, including preparation and presentation of Pricing Analysis Tool through Pricing Approval Process.
– Analyze product volume, margin and competitive prices to provide guidance and pricing recommendations (e.g. proposed prices and overall impact).
– Provide guidance to field sales team related to ensuring pricing requests flow smoothly and quickly through the pricing process.
– Management of and timely response to issues/questions raised via group e-mail box. - Leverage AI and digital tools to enhance process efficiency.
- Responsible for providing accurate and detailed facts to assist in determining overall pricing guidelines for products and for channels.
- Build out pricing analytics / dashboards using BI tools to inform pricing strategies.
- Assist in the development and enhancement of pricing policies, procedures, models and related tools.
- Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or in a related field; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
- 4-5+ years of professional work experience working in a Pricing and/or Analytics role supporting a professional Sales team.
- 3+ years of experience working within the Healthcare Industry (Acute/Post-Acute channels) is highly desired.
- Demonstrated fluency in MS Excel and MS Office (including Word/PowerPoint/Office) is required.
- Must have excellent communication (oral and written), organizational, presentation and stakeholder management skills (including the ability to develop and maintain strong, cross-functional stakeholder relationships) is required.
- Willing and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Must be attentive to detail, agile and team oriented.
- Must have a proven ability to handle conflict and competing priorities and demands, while aligning resources effectively.
- Ability to work through change management and business transformation is required.
- Current or prior work experience utilizing Power BI and Microsoft Copilot is highly preferred.
- Willing and able to travel up to 10% based on the needs of the team and the business required.
The approximate pay range for this position is $90,000 to $100,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as geographic location.
