**Roles & Responsibilities:

Post-doctoral research fellowship position in Abdominal MRI at the Bio Medical Engineering and Imaging Institute (BMEII) at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai
A post-doctoral position is immediately available in the Quantitative Body MRI research group at the BioMedical Engineering and Imaging Institute (BMEII) and the Department of Radiology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City for a motivated PhD, MD/PhD or MSc. The research group is composed of physicists, radiologists and coordinators (https://bmeiisinai.org/cancer-imaging/). The primary responsibility of this position is to analyze and post-process advanced MRI quantification methods (diffusion, perfusion and elastography), with an emphasis on radiomics and texture analysis in oncology and IBD.

**Requirements:

Background in medicine and/or image processing at the MD or PhD level is desired. Pulse sequence programming experience and interest and/or experience in artificial intelligence, machine learning or big data analytics are desirable.
