Department Overview

Advanced Technology (Standards) group:

Develop and advance technology to ensure 3GPP standard compliance for Motorola's Unified Communication Product suite. The team develops various software tools and capabilities to facilitate the integration of 3GPP defined Mission Critical Services(MCS) Standard based features for Various partners/customers worldwide. Work with customers integrate with MSI Mission Critical Server using 3GPP Standards based interfaces for a vast set of features and functionalities including MCPTT, MCData, MCVIDEO and MC Common Services ID Management, Group, Group/Config Management, Location Services.

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Manual Testing:

Execute comprehensive manual tests for mobile applications across various platforms (Android, iOS, Feature Phones) to ensure functionality, usability, and performance Involves in New Product / Feature reviews

• Test Case Design and Execution:

Create detailed and comprehensive test cases based on product requirements and specifications. Execute test cases effectively, reporting and tracking defects in a timely manner.

• Automation Testing:

Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks (Java, Selenium, Appium) to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.

• Application Delivery:

Actively participate in the software development lifecycle, collaborating with development teams to ensure quality throughout the entire process.

• Tool Proficiency:

Demonstrate strong familiarity with a range of testing tools, including:

• Programming:

Java/ Python

• Mobile Development:

Android Studio, Xcode

• Network Analysis:

Wire-shark

• CI/CD:

Jenkins, GIT, GitLab

• Remote Access:

Putty, Win Scp

• API Testing:

Postman

• Communication & Collaboration:

JIRA, SIPP

• Continuous Learning:

Stay abreast of the latest testing methodologies, tools, and technologies to maintain optimal test strategy and efficiency

Basic Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Proven experience in mobile app testing (manual and automation).

• Strong knowledge of software testing principles and methodologies.

• Proficiency in Java programming and automation frameworks like Selenium or Appium.

• Hands-on experience with Android and iOS platforms.

• Experience with network analysis tools (e.g., Wire-shark).

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GIT, GitLab).

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
