About the position:

The Cross Asset Sales role within Morgan Stanley's Institutional Equity Division (IED) in New York works cross-divisionally in order to isolate top ideas and thematic content resulting in dissemination of our platform’s written work, single-name, and macro ideas in covering some of our top institutional relationships . 

Responsibilities

   · Coverage responsibility for institutional equity clients - hedge funds and global asset managers

   · Content responsibility for cross asset ideas and color that results in mindshare and monetization 

   · Act as the liaison to investors for equities content, capital markets, research, and firm resources

   · Demonstrate a desire/interest in equity and macro markets

Requirements

   · Candidates must have strong client facing communication skills and an ability to disseminate complex information clearly in a timely manner

   · 2-3 years of prior sell side experience including but not limited to: Sales and Trading, Capital Markets, and Research

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $110,000 and $200,000 at the commencement of employment.  However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
