Ford Champs will allow to get to know different business areas through 12 months, while you improve your skills and become a better professional.

As a Purchasing Ford Champ, you will be responsible of supporting Purchasing Team, generating deep analysis for the Supply Base cost structure, negotiations with the Supply base, creating synergy to optimize the Ford spend. 

• One of your initial projects will be to support us in the analysis of the supply consolidation to leverage negotiations and productivities, reducing current complexity. 
• Analyze cost savings goals annually to identify pure commercial leverage versus design efficiencies and end-to-end supply chain improvements
• Enhance analytical skills (Must be data driven and able to analyze multiple potential scenarios / business plans)
• Look at all existing processes and challenge if improvements can be made, regardless of scale
• Support Operational and Category Implementation Buyers on all sourcing, resourcing, banking, and operations activities
• Work with Product Development, Quality and Finance & Suppliers

• Active student from any of the last 2 semesters Engineering, International Business Administration, Supply Chain or a related field of study

• 90% English skills (Oral, reading, writing, and listening)

• Strong analytical and communication skills 

• Presentation skills in both languages

• Familiarity with manufacturing processes is a PLUS

• Persuasive and convincing communication skills (e.g., proposals, reports, plans) to secure commitment from business leaders will help you as you will interact with cross-functional areas and the Supply Base!
