Education Specialist – Assistant Vice President Wealth Management Platforms
ChicagoETRADE is seeking an experienced Education professional with expertise in bringing superior digital customer experiences to market, as well as extensive knowledge of U.S. exchange-listed equities, options, and cryptocurrency marketings. This position will be responsible for cryptocurrency content development strategy, presenting client-facing educational events, identifying opportunities for content creation and development, initiating projects, and working with cross-functional teams to deliver a best-in-class educational experience. WM Platforms consists of nine sub-teams including: Field Experience & Platforms, Digital Client Experience & Platforms, Workplace Platforms, Automation & Workflow Solutions, Digital Trading & Investing, UX Design & Research, Strategy & Execution. Business Control & Support, and the Chief Operating Office.The Digital Trading & Investing Team manages the trading, investing, & research experiences for self-directed platforms (ETRADE, MSO & Power ETRADE). Responsible for the ETRADE retail education team as well as financial products including equities, options, futures, fixed income & more. The team serves all self-directed clients, from highly sophisticated traders to long-term investors What you’ll do in the role:Identifying opportunities for education content and presentation materials to deepen client engagement Strong presentation skills to deliver educational content via webinar and webcasts Maintain awareness of equity and cryptocurrency industry trends Ability to navigate project delivery amid compliance concerns, risk control processes, and regulatory landscape Acquire a robust understanding of ETRADE products, services, processes, and organizational structure to find optimal solutions and achieve success Research new training supplies and materials that can enhance the firm’s educational offering Optimize articles and supporting collateral based on existing education, product, and platform content Work with sales, marketing, product, and customer service teams to identify customer needs Interface with product and platform teams to generate content to support product and platform launches
Skills Required:Bachelor’s degree preferred, additional product or project management certifications a plus5+ years’ financial industry experience, preferably in online retail brokerage segmentExperienced client presentation and communications skills required; strong writing skills a plusSeries 7 and 63 registered preferred, series 24 a plusEquity and option investing experience preferred; familiarity with bonds, mutual funds, and futures a plusCryptocurrency investing and education experienceProficiency in leveraging AI tools for efficiency and completing tasksProficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and other Office applicationsProficiency in Adobe graphics and editing programs a plusExperience with e-learning platforms a plusKnowledge of trade life cycle, order management, & trade processing a plusKnowledge of ETRADE for Morgan Stanley products, services, & systems a plusPositive, collaborative, & adaptive mindset with detail-oriented approach and strong focus on customer experienceSelf-starter with the ability to maintain discipline toward objectives with minimal management oversightWHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM MORGAN STANLEY: At Morgan Stanley, we raise, manage and allocate capital for our clients – helping them reach their goals. The successful candidatemay be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component.
