- Software Engineering We’re seeking someone to join our Institutional Securities Technology team as a Java developer, in Prime Brokerage Tech to , involved in Design & Development of real-time platform that requires fast calculationsIn the Technology division, we leverage innovation to build the connections and capabilities that power our Firm, enabling our clients and colleagues to redefine markets and shape the future of our communities.This is Director position that manages and optimizes the technical environment and end-user experience across various workplace technologies for end-users, ensuring seamless operations and user satisfaction across the organization.Since 1935, Morgan Stanley is known as a global leader in financial services, always evolving and innovating to better serve our clients and our communities in more than 40 countries around the world.What you’ll do in the role:We're seeking someone to join our team as (Director) Java Developer involved in Design & Development of real-time platform that requires fast calculations, efficient memory management and a highly scalable architecture.This role provides an exciting opportunity to motivated candidates to work in a fast-paced environment on varied projects from short term tactical enhancements to strategic initiatives that impact multiple firm systems and business groups.Candidates will design and develop using latest technology architectures & API model. Candidates will be involved in all phases of SDLC such as requirements gathering, designing, developing, testing and supporting the application in production.Candidates will also be involved with ongoing technology support for the business users and queries.What you’ll bring to the role:Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Software, or related field of study.5 - 7 Years of development in Java (Spring)Proficient in developing multi-threaded applications using Core Java, SpringExcellent problem solving skills & good communication skillsGood knowledge of OO, data structures & algorithmsGood understanding of RDBMS, Basic SQL, Data AnalysisWorking experience with Unix operating systemGood to have, Scripting languages
