We’re seeking a Rates Sales Vice President with a focus on Emerging Market rates and Foreign Exchange distribution for our regional and global investor client base. The role sits within the EM Rates / Macro Sales team and is responsible for delivering flow and solutions‑based rates products to a diversified institutional client base across Asia and global hubs.
In the Fixed Income division, we work in fast-paced and constantly changing global markets to assess and manage risk, trade securities, manage relationships with clients, and structure and execute innovative transactions.
The Asia Macro Sales team covers a range of clients from Real Money and Hedge Fund Investors through to Global Macro accounts across FX, interest rates, and Commodities products. The sales team transacts with this diverse set of clients on a high frequency basis across currencies and products (FX, FX options, Bonds, Interest Rate swaps, interest rate options, government bonds etc.) The sales team represents the firm in front of clients and work very closely with internal stakeholders including traders, structurers, and research analysts to provide best in class coverage and execution to external and internal clients.
The role is based in Singapore, working in the EM Rates / Macro Sales team. The successful candidate will partner closely with EM Rates Trading, Structuring, and Research, delivering market insights, trade ideas, and risk solutions across local and hard currency rates markets.

Primary Responsibilities
Client Coverage & Revenue Generation
- Manage and grow relationships with institutional clients, including asset managers, hedge funds, banks, insurance companies, and sovereign / quasi‑sovereign accounts.
- Drive revenues across EM rates products, including:Local currency rates
- IRS, OIS, NDF‑linked rates products
- Bonds, swaps, futures, and options
- Deliver flow execution and solutions‑driven trades, tailored to client investment and hedging needs.
Product & Market Expertise
- Act as a trusted advisor on EM macro and rates markets, providing:Trade ideas and relative‑value opportunities
- Market colour and liquidity updates
- Macro and policy‑driven insights (rates, inflation, central banks)
- Maintain deep understanding of regional EM markets (Asia EM focus with global linkages).
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with EM Rates Trading to price, risk‑manage, and execute client flows efficiently.
- Work with Structuring to deliver customized hedging and yield solutions.
- Coordinate with Research to communicate thematic and tactical views to clients.
Risk, Controls & Governance
- Ensure all client activity complies with internal risk, compliance, and regulatory standards.
- Maintain strong discipline around documentation, suitability, and client approvals.
- Act as a role model for conduct and control within the sales franchise.
Qualifications
We are looking for a confident and outgoing person, who has exceptional attention to detail and is proactive in taking on challenges. We are looking for someone who has the hunger and passion to learn more on markets and a strong desire to succeed in the role.
- 6–12+ years of experience in EM Rates Sales, Macro Sales, or Fixed Income Sales at a global investment bank or leading financial institution.
- Strong familiarity with Asia EM rates markets; broader EM exposure is advantageous.
- Strong commercial instincts with the ability to identify and monetize client opportunities.
- Excellent understanding of rates products, market structure, and risk dynamics.
- Proven ability to communicate complex market views clearly to sophisticated clients.
- Collaborative mindset with strong internal stakeholder management skills.
