Profile Description

We’re seeking someone to join our team as (Director) who can Work closely with the WIMT India CAO and PAG heads to support all COO activities for the region. This includes BCP, Space Mgmt., Vendor Mgmt., People Engagement, Recruiting, Agile needs, and other key operational priorities.

WM_Technology

Wealth Management Technology is responsible for the design, development, delivery, and support of the technical solutions behind the products and services used by the Morgan Stanley Wealth Management Business. Practice areas include: Analytics, Intelligence, & Data Technology (AIDT), Client Platforms, Core Technology Services (CTS), Financial Advisor Platforms, Global Banking Technology (GBT), Investment Solutions Technology (IST), Institutional Wealth and Corporate Solutions Technology (IWCST), Technology Delivery Management (TDM), User Experience (UX), and the CAO team.

Technology Delivery Management-WMT Management

The Technology Delivery Management team is responsible for program management, project management and leading execution for various initiatives within MSWM. The team leads critical management efforts related to the complete lifecycle of the programs and projects.

Technology Administration Office

This is Director position that manages administrative tasks related to technology infrastructure and services, ensuring smooth operations and support for the organization's technology needs.

What you’ll do in the role:

  • Create a governance model and identify all stakeholders and work with them to create strategic, operational, tactical teams for execution and monitoring the India strategy.
  • Engage with vendors and organize quarterly business reviews (QBR) of our strategic vendors. Define and publish a calendar, set up quarterly meetings, coordinate logistics, distribute/manage agenda, and facilitate each meeting to track progress
  • Engage with key stakeholders within and across wealth management for buy-in and partnering with internal and external groups as well as vendors for driving change across the organization.
  • Strong understanding of how technology budgets, forecasts and supply Baskets are created and managed.
  • MIS/Reporting: Ability to understand reporting scenarios and suggest key views in the reports for the stakeholders (WMT and IMT delivery managers and business managers). In parallel, work with tech team and business managers to assist in creating use cases and BRD documents.
  • High proficiency in using Advanced MS Excel and related applications for data analysis and reporting essential.
  • Strong background in creating dashboards and executive reports and PowerPoint presentations is a must.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong Project / Program management / PMO experience is necessary

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • At least 6 years’ relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role Strong track record in executing on technology workforce strategy objectives, financial mgmt., space mgmt., BCP and similar organization-wide strategies.
