We’re seeking someone to join our team as an Associate in Legal and Compliance division
In the Legal & Compliance division, we assist the Firm in achieving its business objectives by facilitating and overseeing the Firm’s management of legal, regulatory and franchise risk. This is a Director level position within LCD Business Management

What you'll do in the role:

Prepare and maintain monthly recurring management reporting for senior leadership, including expense, headcount, and KPI dashboards, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.

Support month end close activities by preparing accruals and expense reclassifications in accordance with accounting standards, coordinating closely with Business Unit and Infrastructure controllers.

Partner with external law firms to reconcile unbilled legal expenses and analyze work in progress accruals.
-
Prepare detailed external legal spend reports and analyses for senior management relationship level meeting with Legal and other third-party vendors
-
Collaborate cross functionally with Finance and Human Resources on cost allocation and cost center management.

Assist with annual budgeting and forecasting processes.

Provide ad hoc financial analysis, process mapping support, and executive level presentations as required. What we're looking for:

The ideal candidate should possess the following:
What you'll bring to the role:
-
Bachelor's Degree, MBA or MMS Degree will be an added advantage.

5+ years of experience in multiple functions (preferably financial services related processes)
-
Advanced EXCEL, data analytics skills, financial reporting and analysis experience is a MUST.
-
Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office Suite (Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Share Point, Word) and working knowledge of Tableau, Power Query, and other data analysis tools to support reporting and decision making.
-
Comfortable working with technology and proficient in using technical systems and applications.
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact with senior managers as well as subject matter experts.
-
Interpersonal skills to influence and spur change, facilitate, and enhance performance within a cross - functional environment also with third party partners. Managing client relationships and working as part of a distributed team.
-
Demonstrate decisiveness in resolving business problems, making decisions, and identifying priorities.
-
Must be very organized and have a high level of attention to detail.
-
Successfully meet established deadline requirements - display efficient time management skills.
-
Self-motivated, strong sense of ownership, accountability & ability to multitask.

Proven proficiency in problem resolution and demonstrates initiative/self-starter.
-
Must follow documented procedures, however, must also have an ability to propose a plan or approach where procedure is undefined or may need to be updated.

Be a strong agent for change. Facilitate new processes and standards that could impact working environment / culture.
Coverage
Monday to Friday from 12.30PM to 9.30PM India time with flexibility on standard working hours for time sensitive matters (including India Public Holidays).
Periodic evening calls with US and EMEA internal clients and vendors.
